Found a very interesting site!

Was surfing the net today, not really working much and stumbled onto this site out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is a treasure-trove of information from articles of contributing Authors.

Accomplishments for today

This has been a very productive day for me. I am on a very steep learning curve on how to market on the net.

Today has been spent learning about Keywords. I never realized the amount of work that goes into selecting the proper words. A major point that went home to me was this one question - “What is the intent of this query?”

If you cannot determine what problem the searcher is trying to solve in performing the query, you should not be targeting that particular keyword or phrase.

Makes prefect sense to me!

Surfed and read some blogs on BlogExplosion - Glad I found this place, even though they haven’t approved my site yet. Not enough information on it - mmm got to start someplace.
All and all I believe I've had a productive day full of accomplishments.

Promoting a Blog

As I was searching for information on Blogs, I found this site A TALE of 2 WAHMS . They had a post about a site called BlogExplosion. Well idle hands you know, I had to check it out. It's like a "Traffic exchange program", but for blogs. Non-blogs and worthless blogs are eliminated by an approval period.
There are some interesting features, such as "Blogmarks", which works like a bookmark but stored in your BlogExplosion account.

It looked interesting to me, so I decided to at least give it a test run. I’ll write about our results in an upcoming post.

I have listened to a number of folks and read about Blogs. Time to get my feet wet.
